Hello, after I manually install the drivers from HP website, when I want to install the printer in HP Smart app, I get the message: driver unavailable.
The drivers installed are: Microsoft 21/06/2006 10.0.22000.653
I can not use the printer because is not working with my Windows 11 Pro.
Any idea how can I solve this issue ?
Thank you,
Cristian

Hi @Praji123321,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're encountering issues with your HP Smart Tank 580 printer drivers on Windows 11 Pro, and you've manually installed drivers from the HP website but still see a "driver unavailable" message when trying to set up the printer in the HP Smart app, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
1. Ensure Correct Drivers are Installed
Verify Driver Version: Double-check that you have installed the correct drivers for Windows 11 Pro and for your specific printer model (HP Smart Tank 580).
Download Updated Drivers: Visit the HP Support website again to download the latest drivers specifically designed for Windows 11 Pro if you haven't already done so.
Install Drivers Correctly:
- After downloading the drivers, ensure you install them correctly. Sometimes simply downloading the driver package is not enough; you need to run the installation executable to complete the setup.
2. Update Windows 11
Check for Updates: Make sure your Windows 11 Pro operating system is fully up to date.
Install Windows Updates: Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click on "Check for updates." Install any available updates and restart your computer if prompted.
3. Restart Printer and Computer
- Power Cycle Devices:
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from power.
- Shut down your computer completely.
- Wait for a few minutes, then plug in your printer and turn it back on.
- Restart your computer and see if the issue persists.
4. Reinstall HP Smart App
- Uninstall and Reinstall HP Smart App:
- Go to Settings > Apps on your Windows 11 Pro computer.
- Find HP Smart in the list of installed apps, click on it, and select "Uninstall."
- Once uninstalled, go to the Microsoft Store and reinstall HP Smart.
- Open HP Smart and try to set up your printer again.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
