The starter cartridge (K) on my OfficeJet 8015e won’t seat so I went and bought a new one, which seats fine, but it won’t let me progress past the install without that cartridge that won’t seat properly. Any help would be appreciated to get past that.

HP Officejet printers require the use of setup cartridges during initial setup to calibrate the printer correctly.
If you are using regular cartridges, you'll need to follow a few steps to override the setup cartridge requirement.
