I'm trying to complete the HP Easy Start on my new computer, Mac OS 15 Sequoia

 

What number am I supposed to enter on the screen that says, "HP Product Improvement Study is a research program that allows HP to improve products to better meet customer needs." I can't move on without entering a number in the box highlighted in red. Screenshot 2025-01-14 at 10.55.13 AM.png

The "HP Product Improvement Study" screen in HP Easy Start typically asks for optional feedback to enhance HP products. The number requested may refer to.

 

  1. A numerical rating: You might be asked to provide a number (like 1 to 10) indicating your willingness to participate or your satisfaction level.
  2. A participant code: This could be needed if you're participating in a specific HP study.

If you're unsure:

  1. Try entering a neutral number like "5" to proceed. This is often accepted when the input is optional.
  2. Leave it blank or skip it: Some versions of HP Easy Start let you bypass optional fields by clicking "Next" or "Skip."

If these steps don’t work:

  • Close and restart HP Easy Start to see if the issue resolves itself.
  • Reinstall HP Easy Start in case of a glitch with the software.
