Dear A4Apollo
Well first a Q , why is it that HP are keeping such vital info as a FULL RESET , SEMI FULL RESET a secret bigger than (Who killed JFK or are there aliens in AREA 51 )?, and I would REALLY like to know and I am sure there are a lot more out there too.
I mean, we the consumers, have bought your product to own which should therefor give us FULL ACCESS to our belonging, we have NOT LEASED these products from HP, Right 😀
And now a request , I would like to have these steps to do a FULL RESET / SEMI FULL RESET since I can’t connect my printer to my network anymore , after I did some changes to my router.
It will print via USB cable , but that is not really the point of having a wireless printer , right 🤣
Pls. do not just come up with your previously suggestions, such as network reset etc. etc. .... it doesn't work , trust me I have tried everything according to your So called support assistant and by what has been suggested here in the community ... WIRELESS IS DOWN .
Its only a matter of spending time roaming around on the web to find it.
So for me to save some time and before I throw out the crap and go and buy an EPSON or CANON instead, then PM me with these steps. please

Hey there! @T1m,
Are you able to print from other devices?
Have you replaced the router recently?
Are the printer and computer connected to the same wireless network?
Semi-full reset clears out all the custom setting from your printer and returns it to its default factory settings.
Also, each HP printer has a unique and dedicated semi-full reset steps. So it's not suggested to try those steps on a different printer which might corrupt printer.
So the steps are sent through a private message.
I have checked the specifications of the printer there is a semi-full reset available for the printer. I would share the steps through a private message, please watch your inbox for more information.
However, you can first try performing restoring printer network settings to default and check if it helps.
Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Try the steps recommended below.
Restart computer, router and printer together to connect them back to the network.
Download and run print and scan doctor on the PC.
Refer this article to know more information about using HP print and scan doctor. Click Here
Connect the printer with WPS
Use WPS to connect the printer to your wireless network.
Locate the WPS button on your router, but do not press it yet.
If your router does not support WPS, skip to the next step to connect the printer with the HP Smart app.
Turn on the printer. If the printer is in sleep mode, press the Cancel button on the control panel.
Reset the printer network settings. Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power light blinks. Wait until the Wireless light blinks.
Any network settings on the printer are now reset. Your printer remains in setup mode for 2 hours.
NOTE:
For HP Tango printers, press and hold the Wireless button on the back of the printer for 5 seconds. The Edge lighting flashes blue to indicate the printer is in wireless setup mode.
On the router, press and hold the WPS button for 3 to 5 seconds or until it shows that the WPS connection process has started.
NOTE:
The printer stops searching for a WPS connection two minutes after the wireless button is pressed. If you were unable to press the WPS button within that timeframe, attempt these steps again.
Once the printer is connected, the blue Wireless light stops blinking and remains on.
Uninstall the printer software from the root level on your PC and install the full feature printer software. (Windows Only)
In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
Select your HP printer.
Select Uninstall.
In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
Click on Drivers tab.
Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click remove at the bottom.
Select OK.
Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
Close Devices and Printers.
Update the full feature printer software using this link. Click Here
Also, I'd suggest you assign a manual IP address and also disable the IPv6 on the printer. Here are the steps:
• Obtain the IP address of the printer – You can touch the “wireless” icon on the printer control panel to get the IP address.
• Type the IP address on your web browser to obtain the printer EWS page on your computer.
• Go to "Network" tab - General - Select "Network protocols" - Select "Enable IPv4 only" (or similar) - Apply the settings.
• Go to the “Network” tab – Click on “Wireless (802.11) – Then click on “Network address (IPv4)
• Click on the radio button which says “Manual IP” and then click “Suggest a manual IP address” to give a manual IP address to your printer.
• Click on radio button which says “Manual DNS Server” and under manual preferred type 8.8.8.8 and under manual alternate type 8.8.4.4 (This is Google DNS server address)
