Trouble with Borderless Printing

i'm trying to print an invitation on cardstock paper.  I'm unable to print a borderless photo when I select regular paper, and if I select photo paper, I can print borderless, but the color is washed out.  Is there any way to get borderless printing on regular paper?

No -- This printer does not support printing Borderless on Plain paper .

Yes, on photo paper only, up to 8.5 x 11 in (US letter), 210 x 297 mm (A4)

Borderless is supported on Photo Paper.

If you load supported Photo Paper in the tray. select Photo Paper in the job setup, and then the photo is washed out,

then (likely causes)

The printer is not performing to spec -- perhaps printer is dirty, low ink, needs calibration

OR

The photo is not translating onto the paper as expected -- perhaps low density,  low color saturation, old photo (related to low density, low pixel count, faded colors).

If you are willing to print your card without the Borderless option,

And

If you are using Windows and a supported paper size / type,

Print and Scan Applications / Software generally include simple editing tools to Adjust color.

Should you need something beyond the simple color tools, consider using a full Photo Editing / Print Software.
