Since yesterday, with no other obvious change to my Mac, when I try to print, the Printers & Scanners box says "In Use, Last Used" in the list of printers, there is then notification of % complete in Print queue for the printer, and finally it says "Printing - the printer is not responding".
I have switched the printer off and on, checked the wifi connection (on same router as Mac), I then removed the printer altogether from the Mac, and re-attached it.
Tried again - same message.
Yes, I can print a test page from the console that came with the printer, and a Status Report, plus I can send a print of a photo from my iPhone to the printer - - - so the printer is actually working fine! It just won't work from my Mac.
Any ideas?
Thank you

So after reading another post on here, I found my old printer cable, so it was connected via the USB, removed all printers, and then added my Photosmart eStations C510 via USB (not wireless), and my printer started working again.
Odd, perhaps not ideal, but means I don't end up going and buying a new one when I have one that works perfectly fine - but for some reason, no longer wirelessly.
NB - The only other thing that has happened to my mac is I updated the Norton software. And....as it does lots of weird stuff about who can connect in and out etc......I'm putting it down to something that the combination of Norton, the Mac, and the C510 can't handle. I will try to mark this as resolved now.
