Looking for some help in Downloading HP Smart App on my computer.  Just gives me a blank screen

I understand you're unable to download or use the HP Smart app on your HP Pavilion - 15-cs3075cl, and you're getting a blank screen, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:

 

1. Verify System Requirements

Ensure your computer meets the system requirements for the HP Smart app:

  • OS: Windows 10 (version 1803 or later) or Windows 11.
  • RAM and storage: Sufficient for app installation.

If your system meets these requirements, proceed with the steps below.

2. Use the Microsoft Store

The HP Smart app is available in the Microsoft Store:

  1. Open the Microsoft Store from the Start Menu or taskbar.
  2. Search for "HP Smart" in the store.
  3. Click Install or Get to download the app.

3. Clear Microsoft Store Cache

If the Microsoft Store shows a blank screen:

  1. Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type wsreset.exe and press Enter.
  3. Wait for the command to complete and restart the Store.

4. Update Windows

Ensure Windows is up to date:

  1. Go to Settings > Windows Update.
  2. Click Check for Updates and install any available updates.

5. Reset or Reinstall the Microsoft Store

If the issue persists:

  1. Open Windows PowerShell as Administrator.
  2. Run the following command:
  3. Restart your computer.

6. Download from HP's Website HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

If the Microsoft Store is not working:

  1. Visit the official HP Smart app page on HP's website.
    • Use this link: HP Smart App Download.
  2. Download and install the app directly.

7. Disable Firewall or Antivirus (Temporary)

Sometimes, firewalls or antivirus software may block the app:

  1. Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus.
  2. Retry downloading the app.
  3. Re-enable the firewall or antivirus after installation.

8. Use the Web-Based HP Smart

As an alternative:

  1. Visit the HP Smart Web Portal: HP Smart Web.
  2. Sign in with your HP account and use the web-based features.
