That's unfortunate, we can try restoring the printer to factory defaults. Here is how to do it:

1.) On the printer control panel, touch (Right arrow), and then touch Setup .

2.) Touch Tools , and then touch Restore Factory Defaults.

Keep me posted!

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.
Adjusting the Copy settings may resolve the issue, let's try these steps:

1.) On the printer control panel display, touch Copy.

2.) Touch Settings.

3.) Touch Two- sided select 1:1 or 1>1

4.) Touch return to go back to Copy menu, select Black or Color and touch Copy.

If the issue persist, try restoring the copy settings to default settings:

1.) On the printer control panel display, touch Copy.

2.) Touch Settings.

3.) Scroll down and select Restore settings.

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for your input but sadly problem not resolved. There isn’t an option to select 1:1 nor is there provision to restore to default, only the option to save as a new default.
