My Mac has been updated to  Catalina 10.15.3, and EasyScan still does NOT work.  I continue to get the error:

@Vancouversuz I saw this error too, but IronBadger's recommendation seemed to help. Try double-checking that the printer/scanner has been brought online before attempting the scan. I have other issues still, but this was useful advice for me.

Thanks for your reply.  My printer WAS online, but your suggestion gave me an idea.  I needed to DELETE and RE-ADD my printer  to my Mac (in System Preferences)  in order for the HP changes to take effect.  That seemed to work, and now my EasyScan is working.  Thanks again!

NOT SOLVED! Easy scan works only partially shows images in left column but nothing in the main window to crop or adjust your image.

I have an HP Scanjet GS3110, a Late 2013 iMac, and am running Catalina 10.15.3. I have the same problem, but my error message (on both Image Capture and EasyScan) is different, "The operation couldn't be completed. (com.apple.imagecapture error 704.) (704)." I bought a new scanner (another brand) and that one works fine . My GS3110 still works fine on my wife's older iMac running Mojave.

Yes after the update macOS 10.15.3 Easy Scan and HP Smart both work fine.  My HP6968 is connected to my network and works fine for scanning all the time.  Easy Scan seems to work a little easier then the Smart.
