HP Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M776dn

Hello, I bought an HP M776dn in 2022. Today I connected it via ethernet cable it to my iMac with macOS 10.15 Catalina. Printing functions work fine, however, there is a problem to establish a scanning option. I inserted ip of M776dn in the browser field on iMac, further it requires entry of a password for establishing scanning function. There are 2 options with login: to log in either as "Local device" or as " Administrator". However, both require a password. I re-booted M776dn to factory settings. I tried to find it on the stickers on M776dn itself, but - nothing. Can anyone help with the question: what is the factory settings' password for M776dn? Thanks in advance.

The default password on this device will either be on a sticker on the back or inside the cartridge door or it will be blank. You can tell if the password is not set as all tabs across the top of the screen would be visible. If there is an unknown password you will have to perform a partial clean from the preboot menu which will clear ALL settings. Turn off the machine and then power on and when the 1/8 appears on the screen touch the HP logo immediately. Then navigate to administrator>partial clean . After you click OK on partial clean, nothing will appear to happen. Use the back arrow until continue shows on the screen and press ok. Unit will restart and reinstall the operating system from a backup copy with no user settings.

A small precision: there are 3 fields appearing on the signing-in page on the screen of iMac: 1) Sign-in Method field, it has only on option - " Local device" , 2) Local Device Account field, it  has "Local Device User" option and an " Administrator" option. 3) The 3rd field is "Password" and M776dn is returned to factory/default settings. So, Default Administrator password is needed.
