When trying to add printer 8025 it says driver unavailable

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

If you're seeing a "Driver Unavailable" message when trying to add your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer, here are some steps to help resolve the issue:

Remove the Printer (if already added)

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 and click Remove device

Download and Install the Latest Driver

  • Visit the official HP driver page for your printer:
    HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 Drivers & Software
  • Click “Install HP Smart app” (Recommended) or download HP Easy Start to automatically detect and install the correct drivers.

Use HP Smart App (Recommended)

  • Download the HP Smart App from the Microsoft Store or HP Smart
  • Open the app and follow the prompts to add your printer, connect it to Wi-Fi, and install the necessary drivers.

Check Windows Update

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update
  • Click Check for updates to ensure your system has the latest updates that may include printer drivers.

Avoid USB Plug-and-Play on ARM64 Systems

If you're using an ARM64-based Windows device and connecting via USB, this issue may occur due to limited driver support. In that case:
