Hi @Hops,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To download the driver for your HP Color LaserJet CM1312 printer to your Mac running macOS Big Sur (version 11.7.10), you can follow these steps.

  • Visit the HP Support website: https://support.hp.com/us-en
  • Click on "Drivers & Software" or "Support".
  • In the search bar, type "HP Color LaserJet CM1312" and hit Enter.
  • Select your printer model from the search results.
  • Make sure the operating system is set to macOS.
  • Look for the driver download section. If there is a specific driver available for macOS Big Sur, it should be listed there.
  • If there's no specific driver for Big Sur, you might need to use the latest available driver compatible with macOS. Sometimes, older drivers are still compatible with newer versions of macOS, but it's not guaranteed.
  • Download the driver and follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your Mac.

If you're having trouble finding the driver on the HP website, you can also try using the built-in macOS printer driver. Here's how:

  • Connect your HP Color LaserJet CM1312 printer to your Mac.
  • Go to Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Printers & Scanners.
  • Click the "+" button to add a new printer.
  • Your HP printer should appear in the list. Select it.
  • If the driver is available in macOS's database, your Mac will automatically download and install it. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
