@patliston, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Officejet Pro 8610!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Just to clarify, printers like the OfficeJet Pro don’t use a "graphic driver" the way computers do, but they do rely on specific printer drivers and software to handle printing tasks smoothly.
You can get the official HP printer driver and software for your OfficeJet Pro 8610 directly from HP’s website here:
HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 Drivers & Software
A couple of quick questions to help me assist you better:
Are you having trouble with print quality, colors, or scanning?
What operating system are you using (Windows, macOS, etc.)?
Did you recently update your system or software when this issue started?
Let me know, and I’ll help you get this sorted out!
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
Did we resolve the issue? If yes, Please consider marking this post as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" to give us a helpful vote - your feedback keeps us going!

When I go to print a document, my computer screen keeps going black, then flickers back on. (sometimes two or three times) Then my printer either prints the page with half of it completely black, or does not print at all. And I can not even cancel it out of the queue.
So I looked it up and it seems the source says there may be a problem with my graphic driver. That is why I was looking for an updated driver,
Is there a different reason for this action?
Thanks Pat
