I recently changed back to a previous broadband supplier and router. I have been trying now for probably two hours or more to get wi fi connected without success. I have tried all of the stated options and HP's suggestions have now been printed several times. Left it off overnight and tried again, twice without a positive result, the printer is only two months old, help me please

Hello @DreamRonnie ,

Welcome to the HP community.

This is most likely an issue with the combined 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz that many providers now use. Try to seperate the WiFi sections, aka have two different SSIDs via the Routers Web Interface.

Similar issues occur with Amazon Ring Cameras or Google Nest Cameras, so there should be plenty of information available on the Internet or in this community via a search. Try searching for the Provider you use.

Best Regards

Steffen, thank you. After posting my request I returned to the HP page and saw a note which I feel sure wasn’t there previously. “Press the WiFi button for 5 seconds, then hold the router WPS button”, and it connected, woopee!!

I appreciate your time, just thought this would be of interest.
