I have bought Windows 8 yesterday and the Officejet Pro 8600 one week ago but how can i install it ? I don't find the drivers...

The HP Printer Install Wizard is a support application from HP that assisted in downloading printer software. This support application is no longer supported by HP. The last update to this software was on September 22, 2015.

 

To download and install the latest version of software for your HP printer, please visit 123.hp.com, HP support website, or HP Support Assistant (in English).

Hi,

The driver updates for some products are still in progress and should appear on the site in the next days.

 

In the meantime use the HP Printer Install Wizard.

If the printer connected through the network and cannot be detected at the first attempt, Select My Printer Is not listed and check the option that your device is already connected to the network. follow the steps on the screen to download the Windows 8 full software:

I've tried running this utility several times today, and each time if fails in the download. It even got to 123MB of 123 MB with 8 seconds to go, stalled there for 30-60 seconds, and then I got the Cancel/Retry box again...very frustrating. Is there a direct link for the Complete Officejet Pro 8600 software? I bought this

 

I bought this printer earlier this year, and tried using the original install disk, but it says it will not work with Windows 8

FPU No. CM749-640001

 

I have purchased HP ENV 23-D010A TOUCHSM on 22nd Feb 2013

I am unable to install printer scanner fax etc on this new PC
