HP OfficeJet 7610
macOS 10.12 Sierra

All wireless options have been disabled on my printer, even the option to restore network defaults. I am met with the error message, "Wireless communication has been disabled. Contact your network administrator or the person who set up the printer."

I am the person who set up the printer.

The WiFi router isn't likely to be the issue because we have several devices connected to the router with no internet issues at all. It is only the printer that has a problem.

@KingSchultz,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips! I came across your post and would like to help.

I understand that you have an HP Officejet 7612 printer and I read that there is a message appearing on the printer saying "Wireless communication has been disabled".

As you have performed all the troubleshooting steps and unfortunately nothing has helped to resolve this issue. In this scenario, I would suggest the next step would be to perform an advanced reset on the printer. I'm going to send you a private message with the Instructions on how to perform the reset, the only reason why we are using a private message is because these instructions are specific to your printer.

If the same steps are performed for a different model, this might damage or harm the printer. If anyone needs help with this particular issue, please feel free to reach out to us and we shall help you with the steps.

Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

Please check your Private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile,

Next, to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely,

Hello Jeet and thank you very much for getting in touch.

Before I follow your instructions, can you confirm that these instructions are for an OfficeJet 7610 printer, and not an OfficeJet 7612 printer as you've stated in your post?

Thank you.
