I was able to add my printer to the hp smart application but when I want to print I get a yellow triangular icon with the text "check the printer" (in Spanish "compruebe la impresora") but the printer does not show an error. Now, curiously, when the printer is working when I print through my laptop, in the application it appears as if it already works, but when it finishes printing the application shows the yellow icon again. What can I do?

To assist you better, what model printer are you using?

Refer to this document to know how to find the Product Name or Product Number.

Check for any software updates on the iOS device

 

Did you download the HP Smart app from the App store?

  • Make sure the printer and the iOS device are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

Alternatively, follow the steps in this document to print - HP printer setup (Apple AirPrint for iPhone, iPad)

I tried it with the same internet network and it still doesn't work, I also changed the cartridge and it still appears in the app

Did you try using this method to print - HP printer setup (Apple AirPrint for iPhone, iPad)?

Do you get any errors while printing apart from the icon?

 

Where did you download the HP Smart app from?

Check for any updates available for the app on App Store.

 

If the issue persists even after the update, reinstall the app from the App Store.
