Hi @Venky7360
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
The error code 11-1114 on the HP Laser MFP1180w series usually indicates a paper jam issue or a problem with the paper feed system.
Here are some steps you can take to resolve the issue:
1. Turn Off the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 10 seconds before proceeding to the next steps.
2. Check for Paper Jams:
- Open all access doors on the printer and inspect inside the printer for any jammed paper. Remove all paper bits that you find, being careful not to tear it.
3. Clear the Output Tray:
- Look into the output tray and ensure there is no paper stuck there. Remove any paper pieces you find.
4. Check the Input Tray:
- Remove the paper from the input tray and fan the stack to ensure the sheets are not sticking together. Reload the paper, adjusting the paper guides to ensure they are not too tight or too loose.
5. Perform a Manual Feed:
- If there is paper jammed in the manual feed slot, slowly pull it out to clear the jam.
6. Inspect the Rollers:
- Open the printer cover and inspect the rollers. If they are dusty or dirty, gently clean them with a lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water.
7. Reconnect and Restart:
- Plug the printer back into the power source and turn it on. Allow it to initialize and see if the error code persists.
8. Perform a Printer Reset:
- With the printer on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then reconnect it to the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically power on.
9. Check for Firmware Updates:
- Sometimes updating the printer's firmware can resolve error messages. Check the HP Support website to see if there's a firmware update available for your printer model.
Let me know how far you get with these steps—I’ll guide you through the next phase if needed.
