deskjet 3755 won't finish installing from    -Full_Webpack-40.16.1234-DJ3700_Full_Webpack-.   winxp32 bit installer from hp support site.

error message says a particular cab file is corrupted or wrong.

proposed solution is "connect to the internet and run windows update" but this is not a workable solution.

Without internet to update, you might be limited to print only by downloading the basic driver from the same site.

perhaps you have a driver file name to suggest?  the only "basic" I find is

Basic_Webpack_x64-40.16.1234-DJ3700_Basicx64_Webpack

obviously 64bit and does not run on winxp32 bit when I try.

None of the driver packages I find on the web will complete installation without internet.

ok, trick of the support site, found "Basic_Webpack_x86-40.16.1234-DJ3700_Basicx86_Webpack"

but this version still needs internet for printer "discovery" after complete unpack, etc.

error "CAB DJ370x86 has invalid digital signature",  connect PC to web and run win update.

Are you sure that your Windows XP has any current updates? Your other option might be to try an older Universal print driver but many inkjets use PCL3 and will not be supported.

no current xp updates.  air-gapped.  standalone data-box needs to print 2-3 pages per month.

I suppose I bought the wrong printer.
