is there a way to print right to edge of paper on the 9125E?  With borderless printing selected, it still leaves a 1/8" border all around.

Hi @SinConfections,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e, like many inkjet printers, may have limitations when it comes to printing all the way to the edge of the paper. Even with the "borderless" setting selected, it often still leaves a small margin (like the 1/8" border you mentioned) due to hardware limitations, such as the printer's minimum printable area.

Here are a few steps to ensure you're getting the closest possible print to the edge.

Ensure Borderless Printing is Selected:

  • In the printer settings on your computer, ensure that "Borderless Printing" is selected in the print options.
  • This setting is typically available in the "Page Setup" or "Print Settings" section in the print dialog box.

Select the Correct Paper Size:

  • Make sure you're using a paper size that is supported for borderless printing. For example, in some cases, borderless printing may only be supported on certain paper sizes like 4x6", 5x7", or A4.

Check Paper Type and Quality Settings:

  • Ensure that you're selecting the correct paper type (e.g., "Photo Paper") and print quality (e.g., "Best") to get the optimal results for borderless printing.

Consider Printing Larger Than Required:

  • If the printer still leaves a border, you can try printing your image slightly larger than the paper size (e.g., print to 8.5" x 11" on an 8.5" x 11" sheet) and then crop the edges manually after printing. This method may require adjusting your design file to ensure important content is not cropped.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
