You need to send PJL command to change serial number.

 

{esc}%-12345X@PJL SET SERVICEMODE=HPBOISEID
@PJL DEFAULT SERIALNUMBER= 10 digit serial number
@PJL DEFAULT MODELNUMBER=“printer part number”
@PJL SET SERVICEMODE=EXIT
@PJL RESET
{esc}%-12345X
