hp laserjet pro mfp m148fdw hard reset without password. I've not been able to find this info anywhere. I don't have the admin password and need to setup as a stand alone printer but it has some weird setting that I'd like to wipe out and go with factory default settings
Please and Thanks

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to assist you with the admin password issue.
Let's perform a factory reset:
On the printer control panel, press the button.
Open the following menus: ● Service ● Restore Defaults 3. Touch or press the OK button. The printer automatically restarts.
Let me know if this helps.
If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Thanks!
Have a great day!

HP LaserJet Pro MFP148fdw
From very first day I am having troubles using this printer on my iMacs. It only accepts "direct IP address 192..."
My printer is password protected, and I cannot enter into "factory reset" menu from the "service" area either.
Is there any admin or hard reset available?
Any help is appreciated.

I understand the printer is locked with an adminstrator password
Unfortunately, there is no factory reset option on this printer.
