i need insstallation cd for hp deskjet 2050 series all in one

I purchased a used HP Deskjet 2050 and the cd is cracked and unusable. I went to hp support and followed all the instructions for downloading. until....it gets to the part where it says to follow the on screen instructions.....there are none. I'm thinking the install wizard should take over, but it doesn't. am i doing something wrong, or should i just go ahead and order the replacement cd?
