Hi @Kareld39
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Printing postcards on Windows 10 can be tricky if custom settings are restricted, but here’s how you can work around it:
1. Set Up the Page Size in Your Application:
- Open the application you’re using to create or print the postcard (e.g., Microsoft Word or Publisher).
- Go to Page Layout > Size and select a standard postcard size (e.g., 4 x 6 inches or 5 x 7 inches). If the size isn’t listed, choose Custom Size and enter the dimensions manually.
2. Adjust Printer Settings:
- Before printing, go to File > Print.
- Click on Printer Properties or Preferences.
- Under the Paper/Quality or Layout tab, select the correct paper size (e.g., 4 x 6 inches) and orientation (Portrait or Landscape).
- If your printer supports it, choose Cardstock or Thick Paper as the paper type.
3. Use Pre-Designed Templates:
- Applications like Microsoft Word or Publisher often have postcard templates. Search for "Postcard" in the template gallery to simplify the setup process.
4. Update Printer Drivers:
- If the custom settings are still unavailable, ensure your printer drivers are up to date. Visit your printer manufacturer’s website to download the latest drivers.
5. Test Print:
- Print a test page on regular paper to ensure the alignment and layout are correct before using your postcard paper.
If this solution hits the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
