Hello,

 

having issue with installing HP 1536, everything getting installed on windows 10 except scan app

downloaded latest version from hp portal "hp_M1530_MFP_full_Solution_22049-Win10-64.exe" which was released on 21-Mar-2022, but didn't help

tried to install scan app but it gave error message "The cabinet file HPScanLJM1530.cab has an invalid digital signature"

once i checked the "Properties > Digital Signatures" of HPScanLJM1530.cab, found the certificate already expired on 04-Sep-2012 and that is why it is not installed

 

work around solution is : changing the pc date to earlier than that, and scan app will get installed

 

note: changing date on domain pc might affect the relation between pc and domain

so how to escalate this to HP support to update HPScanLJM1530.cab digital signature as a proper solution ?
