Hi, my printer was not printing pages correctly. I have been messing with it for an hour and a half finally trying to fix. I had the printer clean and align cartridges multiple times and was manually cleaning.
Then, I did a semi reset. And now the printer will not turn on at all. I have unplugged power cord, switched outlets, tried everything. Any suggestions

@gordonn16, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
If your HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer is not powering on after attempting a semi-reset, here are several steps that may help resolve the issue:
Check the Power Source:
- Confirm that the power outlet is working by plugging in another device to ensure it's not an issue with the outlet itself.
- Make sure the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the outlet.
Electrical Connection Reset:
- Unplug the printer's power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Plug the power cord directly into another wall outlet (avoid using power strips or surge protectors).
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Inspect the Power Cord:
- Check the power cord for any visible damage. If damaged, the cord may need replacement.
- Ensure that the power module (if applicable) is connected properly.
Force Restart:
- With the printer plugged in, press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to see if it forces a restart.
Remove External Devices:
- Disconnect any USB or Ethernet cables from the printer and attempt to power it on using just the power cable.
Check For Internal Errors:
- Sometimes, internal errors may prevent the printer from turning on. If possible, consider leaving the printer unplugged for about 10-15 minutes before attempting to power it on again.
I hope this helps.

Hey @gordonn16,
Thank you for your response
If you've already tried all of the above steps and your HP ENVY Photo 7155 still isn't turning on, you might try a few additional troubleshooting methods:
Check for a Power Surge:
If you had been experiencing issues with the printer prior to it shutting down, a power surge or glitch might have occurred. In this case, unplugging the printer for an extended period (e.g., 30 minutes to 1 hour) can sometimes allow the system to reset completely.
Inspect the Power Button:
Make sure that the power button is not stuck or physically damaged. Sometimes, pressing it too hard or in a particular spot can cause it to get stuck in a depressed position, preventing the printer from turning on.
Try a Hard Reset Again:
Hard Reset Process:
Unplug the printer.
Hold down the power button for at least 30 seconds while unplugged.
Plug the printer back in while continuing to hold the power button.
Release the power button after the printer tries to power up.
This can sometimes clear any temporary errors that aren't fixed by a simple reset.
Let me know how it goes.
