I make greetings cards and bought the best printer I could afford. It won't take greetings cards into the feeder. Does anyone know what gsm it will take. I am very disappointed as I bought it especially to print cards.

In general:
The printer works as expected with the possible exception of HP printer software not liking the Hallmark card making software. I do not have any evidence to support that statement - a few forum members have complained the the Hallmark software does not always work as expected (sizes, flipping, duplex, other bits).
Select Media type "Index Card", Brochure, "something to indicate to the printer that the paper is "thicker" than normal paper (must be within the maximum weight limits).
Select the Source (Tray) as opposed to leaving the Source as "automatic" or similar wording.
Select the correct paper size - "close" usually won't do it - you may need to create a custom form if your card paper size is not in the standard list of paper sizes for the selected "media" type.
Do not bother to try and trick the printer into thinking photo paper is card paper. Most printers can "sense" photo paper and cannot be fooled into thinking "other" paper is photo paper.
