@Warren521, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It looks like you're dealing with an expired certificate issue on your HP Smart Tank 7605 All-in-One printer.  No worries—let’s go through some troubleshooting steps to get this sorted! 😊

Verify Date and Time Settings

Incorrect date and time settings can cause SSL certificates to appear expired. Here’s how to check and fix them:

Access the Printer’s Web Interface:

  • Open a browser and enter your printer's IP address in the URL bar.
  • Log in with admin credentials.

Check and Adjust Date/Time:

  • Navigate to Settings > General Settings > Date and Time.
  • Ensure the date, time, and time zone are correct.
  • After making changes, reboot the printer to apply them.

Generate a New Self-Signed Certificate

If the issue persists, try regenerating the certificate properly.

Through the Printer’s Web Interface

  • Open a web browser and enter the printer's IP address.
  • Log into the Security Settings section.
  • Look for Security > Certificates or Web Services (depending on firmware version).
  • Select the option to create or renew a self-signed certificate.
  • Follow the prompts and generate a new certificate.
  • Restart the printer once done.
