Hi @wilgrfam,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I know how frustrating it is when your HP DeskJet 4155e spits out blank pages despite having fresh cartridges. Let’s tackle this step-by-step with a clear approach to get your printer back to vibrant, full-color output:

Steps to Fix Blank Printing Issue

1. Check Ink Cartridges & Seating

  • Power off the printer, open the cartridge access door, and remove both cartridges.
  • Inspect the gold contacts and nozzles, especially on Cyan and Magenta, for any ink residue or damage.
  • Reinsert them firmly until they click into place. Genuine HP cartridges installed correctly typically resolve this issue.

2. Print a Diagnostic/Test Page

  • Use the control panel or HP App to print a test/diagnostic page.
  • If that page is also blank, it indicates a hardware or ink delivery problem rather than a document formatting issue.

3. Clean the Printhead

  • Use the Clean Printheads option from the printer’s menu or within the HP App.
  • If it’s still blank after the first cycle, run it again; clogged nozzles are a common culprit.

4. Power Cycle the Printer

  • Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • This resets internal components and often clears stuck errors.

5. Update or Reinstall Drivers

  • Make sure your printer driver and firmware are up to date.
  • Download the latest version from HP’s Official HP® Support site to ensure smooth communication.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
