I tried to factory reset the printer after an error message about an account issue or a cartridge issue, not allowing me to print. The factory reset failed. I tried to redo it, and it completely glitched out, so I unplugged the printer after the Christmas tree lights kept going off and now it appears to be in setup mode, however the printer pops up as the device name when I try to connect my phone to the printer wifi because it wants a password which I do not have. I've tried the printer PIN and the printer code, but it doesn't work. I tried to print the wifi configuration paper by holding the button, and it just keeps printing the same printer setup incomplete page. I've turned it off and back on, but I cannot get the wifi page to print. And now I cannot contact HP support because I'm not paying for a warranty, so at this point, I'm at a loss and do not know what to do other than buy a different brand of printer and never buy HP anything ever again.

@Raineyb72, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
1. Factory Reset Again
Turn off the printer.
Hold the Cancel (X) button and Wireless button together.
Turn the printer back on while holding those buttons.
Keep holding until the Wi-Fi light blinks. This should reset the network settings.
2. Connect via WPS (if your router supports it)
On the printer, press the Wireless button until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
Press the WPS button on your router (this is usually on the back).
Wait a couple of minutes, and the printer should connect.
3. Use HP Smart App
Download the HP Smart App on your phone (iOS or Android).
Open the app and select Add Printer.
Follow the app’s steps to set up the printer.
4. Printer Direct Mode (Wi-Fi Direct)
Check if the printer is in Wi-Fi Direct mode (it might ask for a password).
You should find the password on the printer's Wi-Fi Direct settings or on its info page.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
