Hello,
I upgraded to Windows 11 but because it kept logging me out I decided to roll back to Windows 10 on my PC. When I did I realized that my HP Envy 5660 All in One Printer no longer worked. I reinstalled the SW, it's selected as the default printer, it's connected to the WiFi, just won't connect. I know the printer works because I was able to print from my laptop. Each time I try to print from Word I get a "We couldn't print because there doesn't seem to be a printer installed." error message. I have searched for several days and cannot find an answer to my problem. I even tried downloading the HP Smart app but that didn't help as it is only for PDF and that doesn't help me. I'm sure something got corrupted in the roll back but I don't know what or how to figure that out. Hopefully someone here can help me.
Thank You.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
I understand that your HP printer is not working correctly after rolling back from windows 11 to windows 10 OS.
Let's try these steps to resolve the issue:
Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here
Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers:
- Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP ENVY printer entries and uninstall them.
- Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
- Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
- Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
- Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
To reinstall, click here.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hello Echo_Lake,
Thank you for your response, unfortunately this did not resolve my problem. I have installed/uninstalled my printer so many times and still the same issue. This is a home computer and all I can find information for on the Internet is for network computer issues and you have to be an Administrator to install. This is my own personal computer and I am the administrator so obviously those instructions are incorrect. This I believe is a direct result of an update Microsoft pushed down but there is no solution to fixing it. I have done everything I could that I found online but nothing seems to work as everything seems to be geared towards companies not personal computers. I would appreciate any other ideas, maybe someone has a personal computer they've resolved this issue on.
