HP DeskJet 3720 All-in-One Printer

Hi I had my deskjet connected and working and then had a new router installed and I can’t reconnect to my printer to change the wifi settings, can I do a factory reset on it or something?

Yes! You’ll need to reset your HP DeskJet 3720 and reconnect it to the new Wi-Fi network. Here’s how:

1. Restore Factory Settings (Reset Wi-Fi)

  1. Turn on the printer if it’s not already on.
  2. Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons together for about 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light starts blinking.
  3. This puts the printer in Wi-Fi setup mode.

2. Reconnect the Printer to the New Wi-Fi

Use HP Smart App (Recommended):

  1. Download & Open HP Smart on your phone/computer.
  2. Click Add Printer and follow the steps to connect it to the new router.

OR Use WPS:

  1. Press and hold the Wi-Fi button  until it starts blinking.
  2. On your router, press the WPS button within 2 minutes.
  3. The light should turn solid, meaning it’s connected.
