If you're having trouble connecting your HP Deskjet 3055a printer to a new WiFi router, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can follow.

 

  • Restart your devices: Begin by turning off both your printer and WiFi router. After a few seconds, power them back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues.
  • Check WiFi settings: Ensure that your new WiFi router is functioning properly and that other devices can connect to it without any problems. Verify that the WiFi network name (SSID) and password are correctly entered.
  • Reset network settings on the printer: On your HP Deskjet 3055a printer, find the wireless setup menu or network settings. Look for options to reset the network settings or restore defaults. Performing a network reset on the printer will clear any existing network configurations and allow you to set it up again.
  • Run the printer setup wizard: Most printers have a setup wizard that assists with connecting to a WiFi network. On your HP Deskjet 3055a, look for a setup or wireless connection wizard in the printer's menu or settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to the new WiFi network.
