@jhotchkissca, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Smart login issue with the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 printer on Windows 10 (64-bit) may be caused by a server issue, network problem, or corrupted app data. Here are some troubleshooting steps:
Check HP Smart Server Status
- Sometimes, HP Smart services may be temporarily down. Please wait for sometime and try logging in from another device or browser.
Restart Your PC and Network
- Restart your computer and router/modem.
- If possible, try a different network (e.g., mobile hotspot) to check if your ISP is blocking access.
Clear HP Smart App Data (Windows)
- Press Windows + R, type %localappdata%, and hit Enter.
- Navigate to HP > HP Smart folder.
- Delete all files inside.
- Restart HP Smart and try logging in again.
Reset HP Smart App
- Open Settings → Apps → Apps & features.
- Scroll down and select HP Smart → Advanced options.
- Click Reset.
- Restart your PC and try logging in.
Reinstall HP Smart
- Uninstall HP Smart from Settings → Apps.
- Download the latest version from the Microsoft Store.
- Install and try logging in again.
Check Windows Firewall & Antivirus
- Ensure HP Smart is not being blocked.
- Go to Windows Security → Firewall & network protection.
- Click Allow an app through firewall.
- Make sure HP Smart is allowed for both Private and Public networks.
Use a Web Browser for HP Smart
Try logging in via the HP Smart Web Portal:
If login works there, the issue might be with the app itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
