I have HP Ink Tank Wireless 415.
I can't reset default admin password for Embedded Web Services.
That doesn't apply default "admin" username and blank password.
Also, If I print "Printer status Report" that says "Admin password: Not Set".
How can I restore the default settings?
Printer doesn't print anything, all the EWS menus are disabled by administrator.
Thank you in advance!

Hi @v_pavelko ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to restore the default admin password for your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 and regain access to the Embedded Web Services (EWS), follow these steps:
1. Reset the Printer to Factory Settings
Since the admin password isn't working and printing isn't possible, performing a factory reset should restore the default admin credentials. Here's how:
Steps to reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer and from the wall outlet.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cable back into the printer and the outlet.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button on the control panel simultaneously for about 3-5 seconds until the Wi-Fi and Power lights start flashing. This should restore the printer's factory default settings, including resetting any administrator settings.
2. Access Embedded Web Services (EWS)
After the reset, you should be able to access the EWS using the default credentials:
- Username: admin
- Password: Leave it blank.
To access EWS:
- Make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
- Print a network configuration page by pressing and holding the Wi-Fi and Information buttons together on the printer. This will give you the printer’s IP address.
- Enter the printer’s IP address into your web browser to access the Embedded Web Services page.
3. Reconfigure the Printer for Use
Once you've reset the printer and restored access to EWS, you may need to reconfigure network settings, if necessary, and set a new admin password to prevent future issues.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
