New HP Tango, I need to connect and print using my 1phone11 as hot spot from MacBook Air.  System works great with home network ...but need for work

@AG53W, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

The printers may not work on a Hotspot connection. You will have to connect the printer to a wireless network.

If you do not have access to a wireless router, you may connect the printer and the MAC/iOS device using wifi-direct.

For more info, refer to this document - Printing with Wi-Fi Direct

Note: While using wifi-direct to print, there will be no internet access on the MAC/iOS device. The default password is 12345678.
