Hi @Kim-barker,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Sure, changing your WiFi provider means your HP DeskJet 2710e printer needs to be reconnected to the new WiFi network. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect your printer.

Prepare for Setup:

  • Make sure your printer is turned on.
  • Ensure there is paper loaded in the input tray and ink cartridges are properly installed.

Reset Printer Network Settings (if needed):

  • Sometimes, resetting the network settings on your printer can help. To do this, find the reset option in the printer’s menu or consult the printer’s manual for specific instructions.

Connect to WiFi:

  • On the printer’s control panel, locate the WiFi setup button. It might look like a wireless icon or have a label indicating WiFi setup.
  • Press the WiFi setup button. This will typically trigger the printer to search for available WiFi networks.

Select your WiFi Network:

  • Use the arrow keys on the printer’s control panel to navigate and select your new WiFi network.
  • If prompted, enter the WiFi password using the keypad on the printer’s control panel.

Complete Setup:

  • Once you’ve entered the WiFi password, the printer will attempt to connect to the network.
  • After successfully connecting, the WiFi indicator light on the printer should stop blinking and become stable.

Test the Connection:

  • Print a wireless network test report or any document from your computer or mobile device to confirm that the printer is connected to the WiFi network and working correctly.

Update Printer Software (if needed):

  • To ensure optimal performance, consider updating your printer’s firmware and software. You can usually do this through the printer’s settings menu or by visiting the HP support website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
