- Have you installed all the required printer software and driver on your Asus laptop?

Hi,
I would also clarify regarding your printer usage, did you applied the HP Plus plan (see more about it below)?

If you did enable HP Plus, which provides an additional 1-year warranty and provide up to 6-month of Instant Ink plan for free and use HP Instant Ink, the printer requires a solid internet connection to work so the connection problems should be corrected for the network
