Deskjet printer - always USB-cabled. Suddenly it won’t write more than 1 document. Then it has to be turned off and on again. The printer shows as online when printing, but if i turn to hp print it’s offline.
I have tried reinstalling the printer, i have read all the instructionpaper, googled and nothing helps 😞

Hi @Musen,
I'd like to help!
To assist better -
1.) Is there antivirus software installed on your Mac? If yes, please try disabling it and check if it works.
2.) Are you using a USB hub?
Meanwhile, Reset the product
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Also, try other ports on the hub or your pc or try a different cable.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
