HI,
Recently I upgraded my computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
I have HP OfficeJet Pro 8600.
At printer panel, using Network Wizard, printer gets connected successfully with WiFi.
While adding the printer in Windows 11, it's unable to find the printer.
I checked multiple times. The computer and the printer are connected with the same WiFi.
The printer is working fine with cable connection between the printer and the computer.
Pls let me know, what I need to check?
Is it related to compatibility of the printer with Windows 11?
With Regards

@NndnG, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to install the printer on the Win 11 PC wirelessly.
Are you using trying to use the HP Smart app? This is not supported for this model printer.
Click here to download the HP Full-feature driver.
Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and follow the on-screen instructions.
Try printing.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and fix any driver issue
Click here to download the file. Once downloaded, make sure to run the file to start the installation and click on 'Fix printing'.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

The driver that you are suggesting is for Windows 10. My problem is not solved. My printer is not detected and shown as an option in the HP Smart App. I want to continue using my HP8600 Office Jet Pro but there does not seem to be a fix to the fact that it is not supported for use with Windows 11. Do I need to purchase a new printer? If so, HP should provide a rebate.
