Same problem, hp envy 7858, blue light blinks and loses connection to router. Nothing helps bit disconnecting, reconnecting power cord, then it reconnects itself. Not sure how fast it drops connection, just noticed it is dead on the next day. This is constant now, will return it to the store.

So much for HP reputation. Will get a different brand.

Quick update for the next curious george landing here, HP tech reached out in private asking for device/product IDs and my personal information. So far, rather unhelpful.

Known issue, raised by multiple posts, HP keeps ignoring. Example:
