Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I am trying to add a wi-fi direct printer (HP M277) to my Dell Latitude 7420 (Windows 11). I am connected to wi-fi network Direct-5a-HP and then when I try to add the printer after I enter the WPS pin I get error 0x80043c04.

Any ideas?

Thank you very much.

SOLVED:

If you try to add the printer using the "old" Control Panel menu - Devices and Printers - Add a printer,  the process fail with error 0x80043c04.

If you use the Windows 11 menu: Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners, then select "Add Device", select "Show Wi-Fi Direct printers", select your printer and "Add device", the printer is installed and works fine.
