Tried to find where I could e-mail HP support directly but doesn't seem to exist so thought I'd go this route. I received an e-mail today from HP offering a $30 Nift gift card. I went online to research Nift, for those that have received this same offer, BEWARE. Some people are able to use their gift card, very few, has a very low score with BBB, doesn't have any customer service, put in a complaint, never hear from them. Some sign up for subscriptions, are charged more and unable to cancel, etc. You can all check but please do before you press that select button. I am disappointed in HP that they didn't do their research before arranging that deal.

I'm glad you posted about this. I received the same email from HP and was wondering if it was some phishing scam. I came across your post when I was doing a little research. Sounds like I'm better off deleting the email. Thanks!

Hi @scwebsmith,
Nift is a US based company that partners with companies like ours to allow us to offer benefits to our customers.
Our legal team approved the terms of our partnership agreement with Nift.
It is not a “trick” to secure data, or to sell our customer’s personal information.
We began partnering with Nift in December and have executed multiple campaigns for Instant Ink subscribers thanking them for their business and recognizing their loyalty.
Their website is:

This page includes more about how Nift works:

Do let us know if you have any follow-up questions, we'd love to help out.
