My HP 8028 printer suddenly not connecting to the server. This problem had happened before and it was due to a software upgrade on HP side causing the error at that time. Now, this issue recurs again and I can't find a support number to open a ticket and have someone help me.

Hi @FC523,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to encounter this issue with your HP Officejet Pro 8028 printer. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the problem.
- Restart Printer and Router: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Also, restart your router by unplugging it for about 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
- Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same network as your computer. You can usually do this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel.
- Update Printer Firmware: Visit the HP support website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. If there are, download and install the latest firmware following the instructions provided.
- Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes, driver issues can cause connectivity problems. Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer and then reinstall them using the latest drivers available from the HP website.
- Reset Network Settings: On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings and perform a network reset. This will erase any existing network settings and allow you to reconnect to your network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
