My HP Desk-jet 4100 printer was working fine but has now stopped working and the wifi light is flashing.
I've tried all the suggested steps but I can't get it working at all. I've tried all the wifi direct passwords / printer pin numbers I can but every step says 'that didn't work'.
It's quite a new printer so I don't want to have to replace it but can't find anything else to try.

Hi Mags565,
If you have a WiFi router provided by CenturyLink, you might be running into a recently identified compatibility issue.
There is a solution posted in this thread https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-Wireless-Networking-Internet/Firmware-up-to-support-CenturyLin...

Hi Mags565,
If you are willing to try the solution posted for the CenturyLink router problem, its possible that the same root cause (and solution) might apply to your Sky router. If it does solve the problem, please let us know so we can update the affected routers list.
If that doesn't work, have you tried resetting the wireless settings on the printer and reconfiguring it to join your Wi-Fi network using HP Smart? This link has instructions for resetting the wireless settings: https://support.hp.com/sg-en/product/hp-deskjet-plus-4100-all-in-one-series/29378221/document/ish_39... Then use the "Add Printer" feature in HP Smart as if you are setting up a new wireless printer. HP Smart is available on Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android.
