Recently had a guest stay over and after they left I found my HP Envy 5660 printer tray at an awkward angle and the screen flashing. I’m not sure what happened if it got bumped my office chair or what. I turned it off and tried turning it back on and it wouldn’t turn on. I unplugged it from the back and plugged it back in (it’s plugged directly into the wall and not in a power strip). That is the only way I can get it to power on. Sometimes it will display the HP logo in white and the loading bar. It will proceed to start up and say the cartridge needs to be aligned and then right as the WiFi should connect it powers itself off or flashes “The printer is having a problem. Turn it off, then turn on.” When I try to power cycle it it won’t turn back on I have to unplug and plug it back in. It has shown me various error number variations with a blue screen with the power symbol (for example B845B842 or B34BEA88 or many others, changing randomly). Sometimes the screen will show white and black vertical stripes and the blue screen with error code doesn’t appear at this time. I tried again to press the buttons home and return icons, but nothing. Sometimes it begins to power back on like normal and moves the cartridges but once it gets to trying to powering on and connecting to WiFi it has a problem. The green light behind is on, but the front light (on/off button) is off. I can’t even get into the settings because the display won’t stay on long enough before having a problem!
Please help me, I am a student and can’t afford to buy a new printer and I hardly used this printer.

Your HP printer is designed to reduce power consumption when the printer is not active. Auto Power Off or Schedule On and Off enables the printer to turn off after two hours of inactivity. When you are ready to use your printer again, press the Power button to turn the printer back on.

Unfortunately pressing the power button is not resolving the problem. It is not auto shutting off to save power. I’m not sure what’s wrong but there’s definitely something wrong. It will not stay on and has given me these images on the display screen.

If your printer's status displays "Printer in error state," there may be a problem with the printer itself. Make sure the printer is turned on and connected to your PC by Wi-Fi or cable. Check it for low paper or ink, and be sure the cover isn't open and the paper isn't jammed.
