Hello, the printer goes to sleep after some period of inactivity and never wakes up from sleep. The WiFi blue light keeps flashing slowly but the printer is completely unresponsive and the oly way to print is to unplug it from the wall and plug it back in. I have checked that all drivers are up-to-date and I have also changed to a fixed IP address following this article https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Mobile-Printing-Cloud-Printing/New-HP-envy-6000-printer-wont-wake-up-s... but it did not solve the problem. This is really bad for a brand new printer.. please can you help HP team ?

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset and see how it works.

 

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
