Hi @KLB1023,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how frustrating it is to see the E0 error on your HP Envy 6055 printer, especially after trying all the recommended steps. Let’s walk through a few steps to resolve this.

1. Power Reset the Printer

  • With the printer on, unplug the power cord from the back.
  • Unplug from the wall outlet.
  • Wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in directly to a wall outlet (not a surge protector).
  • Turn the printer back on.

2. Reseat the Ink Cartridges

  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove both cartridges.
  • Gently clean the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth and distilled water.
  • Let them dry for 5 minutes.
  • Reinsert cartridges firmly until they click into place.

3. Check Cartridge Type

  • Ensure you're using HP Setup or Instant Ink cartridges if the printer is enrolled in HP+ or Instant Ink.
  • Non-setup cartridges may trigger E0 errors during initial setup.

4. Replace the Cartridge

If reseating doesn’t work:

  • Try a new genuine HP cartridge.
  • If the error persists with a new cartridge, the printhead may be faulty.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
