MFP 137fwg
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear community,

I have a question regarding two MFP printers (MFP 137fnw and MFP 137fwg), which look to be almost identical except for their WiFi connectivity functionalities:

MFP 137fnw https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06301850#AbT2

MFP 137fwg https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06384688#AbT1

So, both devices have same Ports: Hi-Speed USB 2.0, Fast Ethernet 10/100Base-Tx network port, Wireless 802.11 b/g/n, but the fwn version is said to have... No Wireless capability (check the link above). What does this mean? What is the point in having a wireless port without wireless capability? The other way round, what extra specs does the fnw version have over the fgw version (which is prices at about 50 bucks less or so than the fnw)?

Thank you.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
