Hi @Traci17,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding setting up your HP LaserJet Pro M15w on a wireless network!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check for Printer Password:
- The default password might be found in the printer documentation or underneath the printer. Look for any stickers or default credentials.
Connect Using the HP Smart App:
- Download the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer from HP's official website.
- Follow the app instructions to add your printer and connect it to your wireless network. The app will guide you through entering your Wi-Fi credentials.
Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup):
- If your router supports WPS, you can connect your printer quickly:
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Within two minutes, press the Wireless button on your printer.
- This method doesn't require entering a password manually; it uses your router's WPS settings.
Resetting Network Settings:
- If you are still unable to connect, restore the printer's network settings to default and try connecting again with the above methods:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the Resume button while turning the printer back on. Keep holding until the Attention light blinks.
Manual Configuration:
- Log into the printer's Embedded Web Server using a wired connection.
- Access wireless settings through your web browser interface and enter your Wi-Fi credentials manually.
I hope this helps.
